Day 1 - 2
Embark Reykjavik, Iceland
Iceland’s capital stretches along the edge of a vast bay in the west of the country. Perlan, the “Pearl of Reykjavík,” is a museum perched on Oskjuhlið hill, offering a panoramic view of the lush, green landscapes. A little further, you'll easily spot the signpost directing you to the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church, as well as the historical center where you can stroll along Skólavördustígur and Laugavegur, two lively streets filled with charming small shops. For a relaxing escape just outside the city, visitors can explore the Reykjanes peninsula and its renowned Blue Lagoon thermal springs.

Day 3
At Sea
On the sea journey, make the most of the onboard services and activities. Tasikaq & Sermilik Fjord
In Tasiilaq on Ammassalik Island, follow in the footsteps of Captain Jean-Baptiste Charcot, whose ship, the Pourquoi Pas?, set sail in 1935 to explore this wild, untouched island. Alongside Ittoqqortoormiit, Tasiilaq is one of the few inhabited areas on Greenland’s east coast. The island’s name refers to the capelin fish, heralding spring’s arrival. Marvel at the stunning Sermilik Fjord, surrounded by towering peaks and calving glaciers, named for the Inuit word meaning "fjord of glaciers." A breathtaking adventure awaits.
Day 5
Skjoldungen
Discover Skjoldungen Island on Greenland's south-east coast. This uninhabited area features diverse landscapes, including a fjord with a double entrance. Enjoy views of mountains, glacial valleys, and willow forests upon landing. It's common to spot bearded seals, orcas, and various birds like the common redpoll and northern wheatear in this tranquil setting.
Day 6
Aappilattoq
Aappilattoq (Augpilatok) is a quaint Inuit village of about one hundred residents, meaning “sea anemone” in Greenlandic. Nestled in a remote mountainous area, its colourful houses overlook the stunning Prince Christian Sound, which stretches roughly one hundred kilometres, linking the Labrador and Irminger Seas. Surrounded by breathtaking glaciers and cliffs with cascading waterfalls, this region was uninhabited until the 1920s, with the village primarily focused on hunting, fishing, and livestock farming.
Day 7
Hvalso & Narsaq Fjord
Surrounded by a flower-filled meadow and towering granite rocks, semi-wild sheep and horses roam freely. Welcome to Hvalsø, in southern Greenland, where Vikings established a thriving community in the 10th century. When the ship arrives, explore the well-preserved ruins of a 14th-century church, a proud testament to history. In nearby Narsaq, enjoy the stunning icebergs and vibrant houses set against lush mountains, creating a breathtaking backdrop for adventure and exploration.
Days 8 - 9
Ikka Fjord & Nuuk
Sail through the stunning Ikka Fjord in south-west Greenland, where over 10,000 years of underwater geology reveal mysterious columns rising 20 metres from the seabed. These unique formations, made of ikaite, give the fjord its name. Glide through calm, clear waters surrounded by breathtaking mountains in this wild landscape. Discover Nuuk, a historic town at the mouth of vast fjord networks, known for its vibrant houses that cheer the locals during the long winter months.
Day 10
Sisimit
During the cruise, travellers can explore Sisimiut, Greenland's second-largest town, founded in 1756. This charming settlement features colourful stilt houses and a small fishing port leading to an icy wonderland. The town center is rich in history, with several historic buildings, a church, and a museum about Inuit history, plus craft shops. When the ship anchors, travellers can engage with locals in a distinctly Arctic atmosphere.
Day 11
Paul-Emile Victor Base Camo, Eqi Glacier
Greenland, described by Paul-Émile Victor as “the most beautiful place in the Arctic,” boasts magnificent icebergs and towering glaciers, with the Eqi Glacier one of the most impressive. Amidst the cracking ice, one feels a thrilling chill. Don’t miss Victor’s shelter, the launchpad for the French Polar Expeditions’ explorations in the 1950s, capturing the essence of this stunning landscape.
Day 12
Disko Bay
East of Baffin Bay, Disko Bay is filled with icebergs from the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord. Guests can admire these majestic ice giants drifting across dark waters. This area is renowned for whale watching, especially humpback whales, providing stunning wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes in this delicate environment.
Day 13
Itilleq
Itilleq is a small island in the Arctic Circle, 45 km south of Sisimiut, with around 100 residents who rely on fishing and hunting in their vibrant Greenlandic village. During a visit, curious travellers might enjoy a game of football, partake in a “kaffemik” (coffee break), or simply contemplate as the gentle light of the midnight sun graces the horizon.
